F-CLASS SHOOTING

This is a very popular form of shooting in the Midlands and throughout the country. Shooters can rest the rifle and use a telescope.  However, the targets have much smaller rings and so wind-judgement is crucial!

There are two types:

• FTR For .223 or .308 calibres only.  The front rest must consist of a bipod, though this can be more sophisticated than that shown in the lower picture!  A rear rest of a bag may be used.

• F-open. Any rifle (up to 8mm cartridges). The front rest can be a bipod or a more sophisticated device. The rear rest is similar to FTR.
